YOUTH CAMP |

Pandan Antique Foundation is sponsoring the 1st YOUTH CAMP to be held on the 21st and 22nd of April at the Viramar Resort in Tingib, Pandan, Antique, Philippines. There are about 50 children, who will be participating in this activity. This is headed by the Children's Festival Chairman, Dr. Lolly Alopjipan Burgos, coordinated by Mrs. Aurora Toldoya, and organized by Raymund Gumboc.
The organizers prepared several teambuilding activities and workshops on self-awareness, on self-evaluation as a Christian, on time management, on good leadership and on sharing one's potentials as concerned citizens of the society.
This training program aims to make the participants become aware of their authenticity as individuals, explore their potentialities, realize the value of working as a community and initiate workable responses to the calls of the times.
With the commitment and dedication of the people who are involved in organizing this event, we are sure that this will be a success. So, come and get involved! |

DALMACIO MARATHON |

An exciting marathon will be held on the 22nd of April at 7 o'clock in the morning. It will be an approximately 13-kilometer-fun-run from Patria, Pandan, Antique up to the plaza of the town proper of Pandan, Antique. It is a fun run because a full marathon is supposedly 40 kilometers or 26.3 miles. Nevertheless, the event is still called the "Dalmacio Marathon" which is being sponsored by Mr. Dalmacio Alojipan and family as part of the Pandan Antique Foundation's programs and activities.
Everybody is invited to join, anybody who is in good health, young and old alike, either you're wearing shoes or not, for as long as you know how to run. Those who will join the fun run will receive consolation prizes and the winners will receive a generous amount of cash.

SEMIRARA CONCERT |

Dear Friends,
As you probably know the Semirara story has formed a new set of beautiful chords that touched the hearts and souls of most Antiqueneos. It has caused a bonding among us who are far away.
The Semirara saga is a story of love: the love of a few natives of Antique for the land of their birth and the love for the sea, the shore, and God's creation within. It is a story of faith in God who is always here to help us. It is a story of hope for justice and peace. It is an example of charity and compassion that I would like to be remembered now and in the years to come.
I am directing a musical liturgical concert dedicated to the heroes who fought hard to prevent the dumping of garbage in Semirara. By paying tribute to these heroes, we are showing our youth that there are indeed people who truly care.
This concert is patterned after the TAIZE meditations founded by Brother Roger of TAIZE, FRANCE, who says: "DARE TO PRAY, DARE TO SING IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST UNTIL YOU ARE HELD SERENE BY
THE HOLY SPIRIT". This form of prayer has become popular ever since the pope declared that if you sing your prayer, you pray double.
